E.Heskey will probably play for "Birmingham" © EuroFootball.com

Club coach Steve Bruce plans to finalize a deal in the next 48 hours, through which striker Emile Heskey is expected to move to his club.

The English national team striker will leave his current club for approximately £3.5 million, but this amount could rise to £6 million depending on the player's performances on the field and Birmingham's success. In 2000, he moved to Liverpool for £11 million.

"We hope Emile will become a member of our team in the next 48 hours," the coach stated.

E. Heskey is expected to become M. Forsell's main assistant on the field.

This summer, French striker Djibril Cisse will join the Liverpool team, so Heskey will most likely have to settle for a substitute role in the Liverpool club.
