"Eintracht" advanced to the final of the German Cup after an 11-meter penalty shootout

On Tuesday evening in Germany, the first semi-final of the country's cup (DFB Pokal) took place. Borussia Mönchengladbach welcomed Eintracht Frankfurt's footballers at home. After an 11m penalty shootout, Eintracht Frankfurt's players advanced to the final of the tournament. In the 15th minute, Eintracht took the lead - Taleb Tawatha scored a goal. However, at the end of the first half, the hosts equalized the score when Jonas Hofmann scored a goal. No more goals were scored, so the teams had to play extra time and later compete for a place in the final in an 11m penalty shootout. It was of high quality - both teams didn't miss their first six shots, but later Eintracht's goalkeeper saved two opponent shots and led his team to the final. Eintracht will face Bayern Munich in the German cup final - the winner of the pair Borussia Dortmund's "Borussia." Result: "Gladbach Borussia" 1 - 1 "Eintracht" (11m penalty shootout: 6-7) 15' [0 - 1] T. Tawatha 45+2' [1 - 1] J. Hofmann
