On Thursday, the UEFA Europa League semi-final stage ended. The team of Frankfurt's "Eintracht" advanced to the final, defeating "West Ham United" footballers for the second time. This time the German club celebrated victory with a minimal result of 1:0. "West Ham" complicated their situation in the 17th minute when Aaron Cresswell was sent off for a last-ditch foul. "Eintracht" capitalized on their numerical advantage in the 26th minute when Rafael Borre scored the only goal of the match.
In the other semi-final, there was a much tougher battle. Glasgow's "Rangers" beat "RB Leipzig" at home with a score of 3:1, winning the series with a total result of 3:2 and advancing to the tournament final. James Tavernier scored for the hosts in the 19th minute, and just five minutes later Glen Kamara doubled the lead for the "Rangers". Christopher Nkunku reduced the deficit for "RB Leipzig" in the 71st minute, which could have forced extra time. However, a goal scored by John Lundstram in the 81st minute led the "Rangers" to the final.
