Frankfurt's "Eintracht" management member Fredi Bobic hinted that it will most likely not be possible to retain Luka Jovic after this season.
The 21-year-old Serbian has become one of the best Bundesliga strikers this season. He has scored 25 goals in 42 matches in all competitions, which has sparked rumors of interest from major European clubs.
L. Jovic recently became a full member of the "Eintracht" team. Last week, the Frankfurt team took advantage of a clause in the loan agreement and bought out the Serbian's contract from "Benfica" for 7 million euros.
Despite the fact that the player now has a contract valid until 2023, he is most likely to move to the European elite this summer. According to the latest reports, Madrid's "Real" is the most likely destination for him, although interest has also been shown by "Barca" and "Bayern".
These rumors were confirmed by "Eintracht" board member F. Bobic: "There is a good chance that Jovic will become a player for Madrid's "Real". I hope he stays in our team, but at the same time, I am a realist and I know that the big clubs will come and want Luka, and in that case, we will not have any chances."
L. Jovic is valued at approximately 60 million euros in the "Eintracht" team.
