In Panevėžys, at the football academy stadium, the hosts "Ekranas" met with the country's champions Vilnius "Žalgiris".
After 90 minutes of intense battle, the strength ratio was equal - the match ended in a draw 0 - 0.
In another match that took place on Saturday, Klaipėda's "Atlantas" defeated Marijampolė's "Sūduva" with a minimal result.
The only goal of the match was scored by 19-year-old midfielder Donatas Kazlauskas.
After Saturday's matches, the team from Klaipėda climbed to third place in the standings, while the team from Vilnius took the lead.
