Panevėžio successfully started the preparation season camp in Turkey. As the newspaper "Panevėžio balsas" writes, the Lithuanian vice-champions met with the Polish "Arka" club, who hold the 10th place in the standings, and won with a score of 1-0.
Although the match was expected to be against Lodz's "LKS", the opponents of the Panevėžys team turned out to be "Arka" from Gdynia. The only goal of the match was scored in the second half, 10 minutes after the team captain Mantas Savėnas lifted a corner kick, by the Moldovan player Sergejus Pogrebanas.
On Friday, "Ekranas" will play against "Mashal Mubarek" team from Uzbekistan, on February 18th they will compete against Poltava's "Vorskla", and on the 20th they will play against the Ukrainian team "Kharkiv."
