The top scorer of Lithuanian champion Panevezys "Ekranas" football club, Andrius Velicka, has left the team.

The 33-year-old, 184 cm tall athlete terminated his contract by mutual agreement and received an offer to play in Azerbaijan. A.Velicka, who was twice named the best football player in the country, scored eight goals in sixteen matches in the A league.

The forward, who has been playing in the striker position since 1996, represented his hometown FBK, Machachkala's "Anzhi", Pavlodar's "Irtysh", Edinburgh's "Heart of Midlothian", Stavanger's "Viking", Glasgow's "Rangers", Bristol's "City" and Aberdeen's clubs.
