In the Lithuanian A League championship, defending champions Panevėžys "Ekranas" team secured their eleventh victory.
"Ekranas" crushed the underdog Tauragė "Tauras" team 3-0 away, which suffered their fourteenth loss of the season.
The victory for Panevėžys was led by Arsenijus Buinickis, who scored a hat trick. He defeated Edvinas Gertmontas in the 20th and 78th minutes, and in the third minute of added time, he scored a penalty from eleven meters.
On Wednesday at 8 PM, the teams of "Šiauliai" and Pakruojis "Kruoja" will play.
