On Wednesday, Panevėžys played a friendly match on the road against Klaipėda's "Atlantas" team and crushed the opponents with a score of 4-0. This is announced on the official "Ekranas" website.
The goals for the winners were scored by Egidijus Varnas in the 1st and 50th minutes, newcomer Deimantas Bička in the 15th minute, and team captain Mantas Savėnas, who converted a penalty from 11 meters in the 78th minute.

The next friendly match for the Lithuanian vice-champions led by Saulius Širmelis will be played this Saturday against Marijampolė's "Sūduva" in Palanga.
