Lietuvos vice-champions Panevezys lost two main lineup players during the 2nd round matches of the A League against Vilnius. Defender Taavi Rahnas suffered a serious injury after collisions with opponents.
The football player from Estonia got injured already in the 21st minute. Medics diagnosed a fractured ankle for him. One of the leaders of "Ekrano" Mantas Saveanas got injured in the second half. The Lithuanian strongly hit his hip bone.
It is not yet reported how long both players will be unable to play.
The match between "Ekrano" and "Vilnius" ended in a goalless draw.
