Panevėžio "Ekranas" on Thursday evening in the Romanian capital Bucharest lost in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League playoffs 0:3 (0:2) to the "Steaua" team and withdrew from the tournament. The first match in Vilnius ended in failure for the Panevėžio team 0:2.

In the 20th minute in the middle of the field, Y.Urdinov lost the ball and Adi Rocha scored a goal from close range. Ten minutes later, Raul Rusescu jumped ahead of Emilijų Zuba, he won the duel against the defender, but quickly started another attack and here Andrei Dumitras redirected the ball into the goal from a very sharp angle.

At the very end of the match in the 87th minute, A. Rocha found himself against E. Zuba and beat the FK "Ekranas" goalkeeper with a precise shot.

It is worth noting that FK "Ekranas" is the only team from the Baltic countries to reach the UEFA Europa League playoffs for the second year in a row.

The A league champions played 0-0 and 2-1 against "Shamrock Rovers", 0-5 and 0-6 against Brussels' "Anderlecht", and 0-2 and 0-3 against Bucharest's "Steaua".
