The Uruguayan scored the crucial goal against Madrid's "Real" and helped the hosts secure a 2-1 victory.
"This is the most important goal I have scored representing the Catalan team, and it is especially significant against our former rival," the striker said.
"We are very happy, but we know that winning in La Liga is very difficult.
We need to maintain the advantage against a very dangerous opponent from Madrid. Like in all leagues, you can't know what will happen if you relax even a little," Suarez emphasized.
With ten rounds left to play in the championship, "Barcelona" already has a 4-point lead over "Real" club.
