Giovane Elber, the attacker, delighted the team's supporters by stating that he will stay in the team for the next season. Former Munich attacker had previously stated that he would leave the team as soon as this season ends, but now he has radically changed his opinion and is 100% convinced that he will stay in Lyon for the next season.
"A few weeks ago, I was very disappointed with my game, I couldn't find myself and I thought I couldn't make it here." - Elber said. - Now I feel great and regret that I said those words back then, hurting the club fans deeply, because it was them who helped me feel the way I feel now."
The 31-year-old Brazilian also admitted that one of the hardest things to get used to here, in France, is the enormous physical loads.
"Here we work much more than in Germany. The warm-up before the matches in Lyon is like training in Munich, and the physical trainers here are like 'priests'." - joked Giovane.
