Election of the Best Player of the Week (survey)

At the portal "EuroFootball.com" - a new section. The most popular country's football news portal will present the surnames of five football players to its visitors every week who will compete to become the best player of the week.

Players will be selected only from the main five European football leagues - Spain, England, Italy, Germany, and France. This weekend there were no particularly outstanding performances, but even without "hat-tricks," several players had very strong individual performances.

The first candidate is Mohamed Salah. The top scorer of this season's Premier League scored a goal in the match against Chelsea, which allowed Liverpool to lead until the 85th minute. M. Salah shined in this match with his sharp runs, which ended with seven shots, two of which were on target. (VIDEO)

Another great match in Italy was played by the hard-to-stop striker Mauro Icardi this season. The Serie A striker scored a brace in the match against Cagliari and helped the Inter team achieve a 3-1 victory. M. Also, a great match in Spain was finally had by Madrid's Atletico striker Kevin Gameiro, who scored two goals and made one assist against Valencia's Levante. The same statistics were achieved by Antoine Griezmann, but K. Gameiro was the real star of this match - the striker had five shots in total and all were aimed at the goal. In France, Memphis Depay stood out with two goals in the thrilling Lyon victory. The Dutchman was the most dangerous player in this match - the winger had four shots, all of which caused serious problems for the opponents' goalkeeper. M. Depay was close to a "hat-trick," and his dissatisfaction was expressed when the coach decided to substitute him in the 79th minute. (VIDEO)

The last candidate is Manchester City's winger Raheem Sterling. The Englishman was the key player in the victory against Huddersfield. In the 47th minute, R.
