On Thursday, the UEFA Europa League quarter-final stage started. In one of the most anticipated matches of this stage, "Manchester United" played a 1:1 draw at home with "AC Milan". The ball found the back of the net for the first time in the 11th minute, but the goal by "AC Milan" defender Franck Kessie was disallowed after a VAR review. At the end of the first half, "Man Utd" captain Harry Maguire had a great chance, but he failed to score from practically the goal line. The second half started more successfully for the hosts - in the 50th minute, 18-year-old Amad Diallo scored his first goal for the club shortly after coming on as a substitute. It seemed like "Man Utd" would secure a narrow victory, but in added time "AC Milan" earned a corner kick, from which Simon Kjaer scored, giving his team a slight advantage for the second leg.
