On Thursday, the first UEFA Europa League quarter-final matches were played.
At home, the team of "Arsenal" won with a score of 2:0 against the "Napoli" footballers.
The "Gunners" played more actively from the beginning of the match and it paid off. In the 15th minute after a great combination, A. Ramsey sent the ball into the net.
In the 25th minute, "Napoli" defender K. Koulibaly, trying to block L. Torreira's shot, sent it into his own goal.
After the break, the Italian team started to play more actively and both teams had several opportunities to score, but the spectators did not see more goals.
In the other matches, "Benfica" won at home with a score of 4:2 against the "Eintracht" team.
The visitors were left to play with a man down in the 20th minute, when O. N'Dick was removed from the field for a foul in the penalty area. Joao Felix successfully converted the penalty kick.
"Eintracht" managed to equalize the score in the 40th minute after L. Jovic's goal, but just three minutes later Joao Felix scored his second goal and after the first half "Benfica" led 2:1.
The hosts started the second half very successfully. In the 50th minute, R. Dias scored the team's third goal, and in the 54th minute, the 19-year-old Joao Felix completed his hat-trick.
"Eintracht" managed to score again at the end of the match, with G. Paciencia finding the back of the net.
In other matches, victories were celebrated by the teams of "Chelsea" and "Valencia".
