On Thursday, the fifth round of the UEFA Europa League group stage is being played. The appearance at the tournament after the group stage was finished by the Glasgow "Celtic" team, which in an away game lost 2:3 to the "Bayer" footballers. "Celtic" equalized the score in the 40th minute when Josip Juranovic converted a penalty kick. In the 56th minute, the visitors were already leading after Jota's accurate shot. However, the end of the match belonged to the "Bayer" team: in the 82nd minute, R. Andrich equalized the score, and in the 87th minute, Moussa Diaby scored the winning goal. This loss prevented "Celtic" from competing for a spot in the knockout stages.
The appearance at the tournament after the last group stage matches will also be completed by the "Marseille" footballers, who in an away game lost 2:4 to "Galatasaray". The winners scored after goals by Alexandru Cicaldau, Sofiane Feghouli, and Ryan Babel, while the guests scored an own goal. The guests scored both goals through Arkadiusz Milik.
