On Thursday, the second leg matches of the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals were played.
At home, "Eintracht" team secured a victory, defeating "Benfica" with a score of 2:0. In the first leg match in Portugal, "Eintracht" lost 2:4, but due to the away goals, the German club advanced to the semifinals.
The hosts took the lead in the 37th minute when F. Kostic scored a goal.
In the 67th minute, S. Rode doubled "Eintracht's" advantage. It was later revealed that this goal paved the way for the German team to reach the semifinals.
In the other matches, "Arsenal" once again defeated the "Napoli" team. "The Gunners" celebrated victory with a 1:0 score in the away match, winning the series with a total score of 3:0.
The only and winning goal was scored in the 36th minute by "Arsenal" forward A. Lacazette.
"Napoli" played actively after conceding a goal, but they failed to achieve a tangible result, and the Italian team ended their European journey.
"Chelsea" and "Valencia" teams also advanced to the semifinals.
In the semifinals, "Arsenal" will face "Valencia", while "Eintracht" will compete against "Chelsea". The semifinals will start on May 2.
