CFR Cluj club, whose goal is guarded by Lithuanian Giedrius Arlauskis, achieved an important victory and a ticket to the next stage of the tournament. The Romanian team defeated Glasgow Celtic 2-0 in an away match and secured the second place in Group E.
The visitors took the lead at the beginning of the second half when Andrei Burca headed the ball into the net in the 49th minute.
The victory of the Romanian team was solidified in the 70th minute by Damjan Djokovic.
In Group E, CFR left behind Lazio and Rennes.
In other matches, London's Arsenal narrowly avoided defeat in Belgium, drawing 2-2 with Liege Standard.
The hosts took the lead in the 47th minute after a precise strike from Samuel Bastien, and Selim Amallah increased his team's lead in the 69th minute.
However, Arsenal responded with two goals: Alexandre Lacazette scored in the 78th minute, and Bukayo Saka equalized in the 81st minute.
Arsenal finished first in Group F, as Eintracht lost 3-2 to Guimaraes in their final match.
