Milan's "Inter" club took a huge step towards the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday. The Italian champions defeated "Shakhtar" in a home match with a score of 2-0 in Group D matches. The hosts scored both goals in the second half, with both goals scored by Edin Džeko. After this victory, "Inter" temporarily climbed to the top of the group and almost secured a place in the knockout stages.
