In the central evening match in Group H, last season's finalists Paris Saint-Germain football players had to admit the superiority of Manchester United at home. The "Red Devils" won the match 2-1. PSG players started the match more actively, but from the beginning of the game, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea excellently defended his goal. In the 22nd minute, the "Red Devils" got a chance to hit a penalty from 11 meters. Keylor Navas saved Bruno Fernandes' shot, but stepped off the goal line too early and the penalty was repeated. In the second attempt, the Portuguese did not make a mistake and Manchester United took the lead. PSG equalized the score at the beginning of the second half, when in the 55th minute Anthony Martial directed a corner kick into his own goal. After this episode, both teams created dangerous opportunities, but both D. De Gea and K. Navas demonstrated successful play. However, the Manchester team managed to break through the opponent's defense - in the 87th minute Marcus Rashford expanded the lead for his team with a shot from about 16 meters.
