The "Foxes" broke ahead in the 9th minute after Ayoze Perez's precise shot. The hosts doubled their advantage in the 64th minute through Harvey Barnes. However, after the second goal, "Leicester" faltered and in the 69th minute Victor Osimhen softened the visitors' deficit. The same Nigerian player snatched a point for the "Napoli" team in the 87th minute. "Leicester" still had to finish the match with ten men - Wilfred Ndidi was sent off the field during added time by the referee.
