England national team forward Daniel Sturridge may miss the first 2016 European Championship qualifying match against the Swiss team, which will take place on Monday.
The 25-year-old footballer suffered an injury during training.
The English Football Association announced that the main center forward of the national team injured his thigh on Friday morning. Tests were supposed to be done on him after lunch.
Gary Cahill will also not play on Monday, as he injured his heel.
In the qualifying matches in group E, the English will play against the Lithuanians, Swiss, Slovenians, Estonians, and San Marino team.
