Wednesday evening revealed the second participant of EURO 2020 final. It was the England national team, which defeated Denmark with a score of 2:1 after extra time. The first goal of the match had to wait until the 30th minute when the Danes took the lead with a penalty kick fantastically converted by Mikkel Damsgaard. However, the English team equalized the score in the 39th minute when the ball was redirected into their own goal by Denmark's captain Simon Kjaer. In the second half, the English looked considerably stronger, but the Danes held their ground in defense and the teams had to play extra time. The decisive moment came in the 104th minute of extra time, when a penalty was awarded to Denmark. Although Harry Kane missed the penalty, the first to react to the rebounding ball scored and brought his team forward. As it later turned out, that goal also secured the victory for England in the final, where they will face Italy.
