On Saturday, the Euro 2016 qualifying matches continue - today groups C, E, and G are playing.
In Group E, besides Lithuania and Estonia, San Marino and England also played. In this qualifying cycle, the English essentially had formalities left - after defeating San Marino, the "three lions" became the first team to secure a place in the European Championship.
By the way, scoring today, Wayne Rooney scored his 49th goal for the national team and is now the all-time leading scorer for England alongside Bobby Charlton.
In a very dramatic match, Switzerland extended the victory against Slovenia. The Swiss were trailing 0-2 in the 80th minute, but scored 3 goals in the last 10 minutes and secured the victory, bringing them closer to qualifying for Euro 2016.
In Group C, the Ukrainian national team achieved an important victory by easily defeating Belarus and keeping good chances to qualify for the European Championship.
In the evening matches in this group, Spain avenged Slovakia with a 2-0 win for their previous defeat and rose to the top of the group due to a better goal difference.
Russia also secured important three points after Artem Dzyuba's goal at home defeated direct competitors for a place in the European Championship, Sweden.
Austria, the Group G leader, is one step away from the European Championship after defeating Moldova 1-0 at home. Montenegro's national team, defeating Liechtenstein 2-0, has not yet bid farewell to hopes of competing in the further stages of the competition.
