26-year-old London "Chelsea" defender N'Golo Kante received another recognition in England. The "Football Writers' Association", made up of journalists from England and France, elected the French national team midfielder as the best football player of the year playing in the "Premier" league. N. Kante recently received the best football player of the year award from the PFA. The hardworking footballer has no equal in England this season - all the most important personal trophies went to the Frenchman. Last season, Jamie Vardy was voted the best player of the Premier League season by journalists, and the PFA award went to Riyad Mahrez. However, this year the opinions of journalists and experts coincided. Approaching his second consecutive Premier League title, N. Kante played 38 matches for "Chelsea" this season and scored two goals.
