„Eredivisie“ 17th round featured a clash of Dutch giants - in Rotterdam met „Feyenoord“ and „Ajax“ teams. The match was filled with rough play, with Amsterdam's „Ajax“ triumphing 2:0. The game started slowly and the first half lacked clear opportunities, but at the end of the half „Ajax“ managed to break the deadlock - after a cunning pass from Dušan Tadić, „Feyenoord“ defender Marcos Senesi scored an own goal. In the second half, Tadić again put the ball in the net from the penalty spot. The match was characterized by rough play, resulting in two injuries for „Ajax“ - Jurrien Timber and Lisandro Martinez.
