Especially beautiful goal: "Everton" monthly goal chosen as the nine-year-old strike

A young fan of Everton with cerebral palsy, George Shaw, beat players like Ross Barkley, Aaron Lennon, and Kevin Mirallas and won the club's goal of the month competition.

Nine-year-old Everton fan George Shaw made his mark on January 24th at Goodison Park stadium when he was invited onto the pitch during half-time of the match against Swansea City. His goal made it onto the list of the best goals of the month, with website visitors giving him 86 percent of the votes for his strike.

This gesture from Everton fans delighted the young fan, who admitted he never expected to win this award on the club's website.

"I never even thought I could win. I thought I would be short of a little because I received a lot of support, but I can't believe I won!" George expressed his joy while speaking to the Everton website.

To properly reward George, the club's management invited the nine-year-old to the team's awards ceremony, which will take place in May.
