Barcelona accepted that Xavi will not be coaching the team next season. The decision made by the management can be replaced by another former player of the team.
According to ESPN, Rafael Marquez is a candidate to become the new Barcelona coach.
At the moment, the Mexican football legend is coaching Barcelona's second team ("Barca Athletic"). Such a transition would not be a novelty, considering the trends of this Catalan club of this age.
R. Marquez played for the Catalonia team from 2003 to 2010.
