Maurizio Sarri's first season at the helm of Chelsea was tumultuous, but the Italian managed to bring the aristocrats back to the Champions League and led them to the final of the Europa League.
Despite this, information emerged in the English media that Chelsea will part ways with M. Sarri after the season and aim to bring in club legend Frank Lampard as his replacement.
However, ESPN reports that the aristocrats are not planning to dismiss the coach, even if he fails to win the Europa League trophy.
The same sources announce that Chelsea would consider letting the coach go for a fee if he expresses a desire to leave London.
M. Sarri himself recently revealed that his goal for the next season is to coach the Chelsea team. Several Italian teams, including Juventus without a coach, are actively interested in his services.
