Estonians couldn't resist against Germany, Croatians left without victory in Wales

On Sunday evening, nine more group matches were played in the European Championship qualifiers.

Estonia failed to surprise their fans by admitting Germany's superiority - 0:3.

The Estonians had all the cards in their favor, as in the 14th minute Emre Can was sent off the field and the Germans were left to play with ten men.

The Estonian footballers resisted until the 52nd minute, but then Ilkay Gundogan took action - he scored two goals in a span of six minutes for the Germans. Timo Werner sealed the deal in the 71st minute.

Germany and the Netherlands have each collected 15 points in their group.

In other intriguing matches, the Wales national team managed to draw against Croatia. In the 9th minute, the Croatians took the lead, but at the end of the first half Gareth Bale equalized for his team.

Wales is four points behind the second position, but Hungary have played more matches.

Russia and Poland have already secured their tickets to next year's European Championship - the Russians defeated the Cypriots, while the Poles overcame the Macedonians after a tough battle.

The remaining matches ended with victories for Belgium, the Netherlands, Hungary, Scotland, and Austria.
