On December 2 in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, the draw for the group stage of the 2012 European Championship will take place, dividing the 16 most powerful teams of the Old Continent into 4 groups.

On Tuesday, the last four countries that jumped onto the moving train were revealed - in the playoffs, success accompanied Ireland, Portugal, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.

Both tournament hosts made it to the first pot: it is already clear that the Poles will play in groups A, while the Ukrainians will be in group D. Along with them in the first pot are defending champions Spain and the Netherlands, holding the highest position according to the UEFA coefficient.

In the second quartet, Germany, Italy, England, and Russia are lined up according to the same coefficient showing excellent results, in the third - Croatia, Portugal, Greece, and Sweden.

The fourth pot is made up of France, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Ireland.

The draw ceremony will begin on December 2 at 19:00 Lithuanian time. The championship will start on June 8 next year and will finish on July 1.
