uring the first of the two F group meetings that evening, the teams of Austria and Hungary fought.

Marcel Koller's team played well in the qualifiers and having several capable footballers, they can certainly become a surprise in the championships. Meanwhile, the Hungarians were considered one of the weakest teams in the European Championship before the match, but in football, we have seen more than one Cinderella story.

Bernd Storck's team definitely showed fighting spirit in these matches, and the referee's final whistle captured the surprise.

Team lineups:

Austria: R. Almer, A. Dragovič, M. Hinteregger, C. Fuchs, F. Klein, Z. Junuzovič (60' Sabitzer), M. Harnik (78' A. Schopf), J. Baumgartlinger, M. Arnautovič, D. Alaba, M. Janko (65' R. Okotie).

Hungary: G. Kiraly, T. Kadar, A. Fiola, A. Lang, R. Guzmics, Z. Gera, B. Dzsudzsak, L. Kleinheisler (80' Z. Stieber), A. Nagy, K. Nemeth (89' A. Pinter), A. Szalai (69' T. Priskin).

Hungary's goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly became the oldest player to start a match at the tournament.

The Austrians tried to confirm their favorites label from the beginning, and in the first minute, the leader David Alaba's shot hit the crossbar.

Hungary had some luck that time, but after saving themselves from a quick goal, their players started to show their abilities. They definitely didn't allow the opponents to dominate them.

In the second half, Austria had several chances, but the Hungarians played even better.

Balasz Dzsudzsak's shot after more than 40 minutes was much more dangerous than the opponents' attacks.

After the break, Austria played more actively again, but the Hungarians quickly recovered. In the 55th minute, goalkeeper Robert Almer was tested with a good shot from outside the penalty area by Balazs Dzsudzsak.

Finally, after playing for just over an hour, the first goal fell. Unexpectedly, it was Hungary's sniper Adam Szalai who scored, who had only previously distinguished himself in December 2014.

Furthermore, after a few minutes, the Austrian midfielder Aleksandr Dragovič saw his second yellow card right before his eyes, and in these matches, almost everything became clear.

As the duel was ending, the opponents' goalkeeper was well beaten and the advantage was doubled by Zoltan Stieber after a substitution.

Result:

Austria 0 - 2 Hungary [0-1] 63' Adam Szalai 66' Alexander Dragovič (Austria) sent off [0-2] 87' Zoltan Stieber

The best player of the match was midfielder László Kleinheisler.
