EURO 2016 qualification: Spaniards lost to Slovaks, England left no hope for San Marino

In the European stadiums on Thursday, a total of nine second-round qualifying matches for the 2016 European Championship were played. A quite unexpected result was recorded in Slovakia, where the Slovaks secured a surprising victory against the European champions Spain in front of their own fans. In the 17th minute, the Slovaks took the lead after Juraj Kucka's goal, but in the 82nd minute Paco Alcacer equalized the score. However, just five minutes later Miroslav Stoch defeated Iker Casillas and extended the lead. England also won an easy victory, leaving no chances for the San Marino footballers. In the same group, the Swiss suffered their second defeat, this time losing to the Slovenians.
