"EURO 2016" TOP 200 player rating: Right-back defenders (Part II, positions 1-10)

Approaching the 2016 European Championship, Bleacher Report will review and rate the 200 best players of the tournament, according to their positions. In the third ranking review, right-back players are featured. The ranking includes Dani Carjavalis, who was sidelined from the championship due to injury in the last moments but was part of the preliminary roster of the Spanish national team, and instead of him, you will see the name of Hector Ballerino, who will participate in the tournament. The ranking is composed of two categories: one consisting of defensive abilities (ball interceptions, player covering, and position occupation), and the other of attacking play (crosses, joining attacks, and overall technical skills). Each player from each of these categories can receive a maximum of 50 points, and by adding up the points obtained in both categories, the ranking of European Championship right-back players was compiled. In the second part of this review, I present the right-back players remaining in positions 1-10. You can read about players in positions 11-20 by clicking this link. 10. The veteran has been the captain of Croatia for seven years, showing his ability to command his teammates and organize them defensively, which has been valuable in both club and national team football. Attacking play: 44/50 Although many do not consider the 34-year-old a serious threat in attack, he is an excellent specialist in set-piece positions and has a lethal right foot. During his 445 career matches with Shakhtar, Srna directly contributed to 151 goals. These statistics show that he is a player who must be stopped. Overall ranking: 83/100 Having Vrsaljko in this position as well, the Croatian national team coach will have to decide how to use all of his players effectively. He could move Srna forward, but there he would become the main target for defenders and decrease his productivity in attack. Whatever decision Ante Cacic makes, Srna will certainly be in the starting eleven. 9. Matteo Darmian - Italy Defensive abilities: 45/50 ...
