Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could already improve the legendary Michel Platini's record in the "Euro 2016" championship. The star of the Portuguese national team and the Swedish leader have sparked much debate about which of them will become the first footballer to score in as many as four European football championships.
C.Ronaldo and Z.Ibrahimovic have each scored six goals in European championships. Both players are just three accurate shots away from reaching M.Platini's record of nine goals. The latter scored all of them in the 1984 World Cup in France, so if C.Ronaldo or Z.Ibrahimovic improves the record, they will symbolically do it in the same place where M.Platini shone.
Z.Ibrahimovic and C.Ronaldo are not the only players to have scored six goals in European championships, but they are the only ones we will see in this tournament.
