In the quarterfinals of the third European Championship, the national teams of England and Switzerland will meet.

Switzerland confidently defeated the defending champions Italy with a score of 2-0 in the round of 16.

Meanwhile, England barely managed to defeat Slovakia in extra time in this stage. Jude Bellingham expanded the scoreline to 2-0 in the 90+5th minute of extra time with a shot through himself. Harry Kane scored the second goal for the "Three Lions" in the first minute of extra time.
