The Netherlands national team secured an important victory in the upcoming European Championship qualification tournament.

Ronald Koeman's disciples defeated the Ireland team 2:1 as guests.

The match started badly for the visitors, as A. Idah scored a penalty in the 4th minute and put the Irish team ahead.

However, in the 19th minute, C. Gakpo had the chance to score a penalty and equalized the score.

The winning goal for the visitors was scored by W. Weghorst, who beat G. Bazunu in the 56th minute - 2:1.
