On Saturday, the European zone qualifying matches for the 2022 FIFA World Cup continued. In Group A, the Serbian national team played a 2-2 draw at home against current European champions Portugal. Portugal took the lead in the first half with two goals scored by Diogo Jota. However, the Serbians equalized in the second half with goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic and Filip Kostic. At the end of the match, there was no shortage of emotions. In particular, in the 92nd minute, Serbian Nikola Milenkovic was sent off the field. In the final moments of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to score a goal, but the assistant referee ruled that the ball did not cross the line. This greatly angered the Portuguese leader, who stormed off the pitch very angry.

In Group B, the Czech Republic played a 1-1 draw at home against Belgium. The Czechs took the lead with a goal from Lukas Provod in the 50th minute. Romelu Lukaku equalized for Belgium in the 60th minute.
