UEFA Europa League knockout pairings have been revealed.
In the first knockout stage, two legendary European teams will face off - "Barcelona" against "Manchester United". The Catalans left the Champions League undefeated against the teams of "Inter" and "Bayern", while the "Red Devils" did not surpass the "Real Sociedad" footballers in the Europa League group.
In the Europa League knockout stage, "Juventus" will meet the surprising team of "Nantes". "Ajax" awaits the challenge of Berlin's "Union", while "Bayer" will try to overcome the "Monaco" barrier.
First knockout stage pairings:
"Barcelona" - "Manchester United"
"Juventus" - "Nantes"
"Sporting" - "Midtjylland"
"Shakhtar" - "Rennes"
"Ajax" - Berlin's "Union"
"Bayer" - "Monaco"
"Sevilla" - PSV
"Salzburg" - "Roma"
The matches will be played on February 16 and 23. The quarter-final stage will start in March, with the teams that finished first in the Europa League groups joining in.
The final will be played at the "Puskas" stadium in Budapest on May 31.
