During Thursday night's UEFA Europa League match, "Manchester United" beat Nicosia's "Omonia" with a score of 3:2.
In the first half, "United" created dangerous opportunities, but they failed to capitalize on them, and in the 34th minute, "Omonia" stunned the English team with a counterattack goal. Karim Ansarifard scored after a quick break.
In the second half of the match, two "Red Devils" players who came on as substitutes overturned the result. Marcus Rashford scored a goal in the 53rd minute, and ten minutes later, Anthony Martial put the ball into the net.
In the 84th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo set up Marcus Rashford for another goal, giving his team a two-goal advantage.
However, just a minute later, "Omonia" added intrigue to the game, as Nikolas Panagiotou scored his team's second goal with a great shot into the top corner of the goal. Nevertheless, this goal was not enough for the Cypriot team, and they had to accept defeat.
After three rounds, "Man United" is in second place in Group E, behind only "Real Sociedad" with three more points.
