During last night's third qualifying round matches of the Europa League, Italian and French teams failed to defeat their opponents, while "West Ham United" lost to the "Domzale" team from Slovenia.

French clubs also didn't have a very successful start to the qualifiers - both "Lille" and "Saint-Etienne" played draws at home with their opponents. The first finished 1-1 against "Gabala" from Azerbaijan, while "Saint-Etienne" played goalless against the Greek team "AEK".
"Sassuolo" from Italy also failed to win, ending the match 1-1 away against the "Luzern" club. Meanwhile, representatives from Germany, Berlin's "Hertha" footballers, celebrated a narrow 1-0 victory against "Brondby".
Saulius Širmelis' coached "Jelgava", with Mindaugas Grigaravičius playing until the 71st minute, played a draw at home 1-1 against "Beitar Jerusalem". Meanwhile, Žydrūnas Karčemarskas' represented "Osmanlispor" won 1-0 against "Nomme Kalju", the tormentor of "Trakai". The Lithuanian goalkeeper played the entire match and faced only one shot on goal.
The other two Lithuanian clubs victorious with narrow margins in their games. HJK beat "Goteborg" 2-1, and "Midtjylland" defeated "Videoton" 1-0.
The return matches of the third qualifying round will take place next week.
