On Friday, at 13 o'clock Lithuanian time, in Nyon, Switzerland, the draw ceremony for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final of the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League took place.
The eight strongest European teams were divided into four quarterfinal pairs.
In the first quarterfinal pair, Amsterdam's "Ajax" will face Turin's "Juventus". Both teams reached this stage by losing their first eighth-final matches.
In the second pair, "Liverpool" got the most desired match-up against the team of "Porto". The winner of this pair will compete in the semifinals against the winner of "Ajax" - "Juventus".
In the next quarterfinal pair, fate brought together two English teams - "Manchester City" and "Tottenham". In the last pair, two legendary clubs will meet - "Barcelona" and "Manchester United". The winners of these two pairs will face each other in the second semifinal.
The first quarterfinal matches will take place on April 9 and 10, and the second-leg matches - on April 16 and 17.
The Champions League final will be played on June 1 in Madrid, at the "Wanda Metropolitano" stadium.
