On Thursday, the UEFA Europa League semi-finals kicked off.
In the first match at home, London's "Arsenal" defeated "Valencia" with a score of 3:1.
The guests took the lead in the 11th minute, when M. Diakhaby headed the ball into the net after a successful corner kick.
"Arsenal" responded with two quick goals from A. Lacazette - the Frenchman scored in the 18th and 26th minutes.
The position of the "Gunners" before the return match was further strengthened by a goal scored in added time of the second half by P. Aubameyang.
In the other semi-final, "Eintracht" Frankfurt played a 1:1 draw at home with London's "Chelsea."
In the 23rd minute, "Eintracht" forward scored a precise header to put his team in front.
The visitors equalized at the end of the first half when Pedro scored.
Neither team could score in the second half.
The return leg of the semi-finals will be played in a week's time.
