Europa League: "Tottenham" lost to "Anderlecht", "Lech" defeated "Fiorentina" away (VIDEO)

Twenty-four UEFA Europa League matches were played last night. There was no shortage of surprises. Representing Poland, the "Lech" team from Poznań, which a few years ago had beaten Vilnius "Žalgiris", defeated one of the leaders of the Italian championship, Florence's "Fiorentina", as guests. Goals from Dawid Kownacki and Maciej Gajos allowed the neighboring country's footballers to achieve their first victory and rise to second place in Group I with four points. Giuseppe Rossi stood out at the end of the match for "Fiorentina". Meanwhile, another surprise was recorded in Brussels, where the local "Anderlecht" forced London's "Tottenham" to surrender. Despite the English team leading after a goal from Christian Eriksen, the Belgians were gifted the victory by precise goals from Guillaume Gillet and Stefano Okaka Chuka. After the match, both teams have four points each and are only one point behind Group J leader, "Monaco". Another "Premier" League team also did not have as much success as desired - Liverpool players played 1-1 at home with Kazan's "Rubin" and settled for a third draw. It is worth mentioning that the visitors played with one man down from the 36th minute after Oleg Kuzmin received his second yellow card. Nevertheless, the only goal after that episode was scored by Emre Can. Interesting matches also took place in Braga, where the local team hosted Marseille. In the 61st minute, Ahmed Hassan Koka put the hosts in the lead, and in the 77th minute, Wilson Eduardo doubled the advantage. Although it seemed that "Braga" would secure the victory, Marseille players recovered and scored two equalizing goals, with Romain Alessandrini and Michy Batshuayi as the scorers. Ultimately, the match took another turn - the hosts expanded their lead in the 89th minute. Alan, the hero of the Portuguese club, allowed them to end the first round with the maximum number of points. Group tables can be found here.
