The first match for the English national team in the World Cup was not easy.
After a tough 90-minute battle, the European champions defeated the Haitian national team 1:0.
In the 29th minute, Georgia Stanway converted a penalty kick from 11 meters and thus England managed to win. Alessia Russo was also active in attack, but failed to score.
