European clubs earning the most income from ticket sales

UEFA announced the European clubs that received the most income from ticket sales in the 2016 financial year. Among the top 20 prestigious teams were eight from England, five from Germany, and four from Spain. Serie A teams received two spots, while Ligue 1 got one spot. In first place was London's Arsenal club, with an impressive total of 135 million euros. The Gunners' ticket income increased by 3% over the year, making up 28% of all revenue. Arsene Wenger's team earned approximately 5 million euros per match. In second place was Real Madrid (132 million), with Manchester United in third (131 million). Interestingly, Manchester United's ticket sales increased by 23% over the year. Rounding out the top five were Barcelona (129 million) and Bayern Munich (123 million). Notable mentions include Juventus in 11th place and PSG in 10th place. Italian sales dropped by 17% over the year, while PSG's ticket sales accounted for only 8% of the team's revenue.
