The giants of Spain, Madrid, are leading the list of the highest-earning European football clubs. "Real" has been leading in terms of revenue for seven years in a row. In 2010-2011, they reached 479.5 million euros, surpassing "Barcelona" (450.7 million) and English champion "Man Utd" (367 million). Also in the top six are the German representative, Munich's "Bayern" (321.4 million), the English giant, London's "Arsenal" (251.1 million), and another club from the same country, London's "Chelsea" (249.8 million). Calculations are made based on three main indicators: revenue from tickets, television broadcasts, and commercial activities. It is impressive that the clubs in the top twenty earned 4.4 billion euros - a quarter of the entire European football market. The leading teams represent only five countries: England, France, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Top twenty highest-earning clubs: (in millions of euros) 1. "Real" 479.5 2. "Barcelona" 450.7 3.
