Didier Drogba will wear the Turin Juventus jersey next season, reports La Stampa.

According to the Italian newspaper, the Italian club is offering a one-year contract with a salary of 3.5 million euros and the possibility of extending it for another season to the Ivory Coast national team striker who will become a free agent this summer.

John Elkann, interviewed by journalists, the head of the company "Exor," which controls Juventus, would view the arrival of the 36-year-old veteran optimistically.

"Too old? Roger Milla, who captivated everyone in the 1990 World Cup with the Cameroon team, was not a young greenhorn either," J. Elkann recalled the excellent performance of the former Milan striker and the four goals he scored in the tournament when he was 38 years old.

This season, D. Drogba, who defended the honor of the Istanbul Galatasaray team eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by Juventus, scored 20 goals in 53 official matches.

It is reported that the final decision on D. Drogba will be made by the head coach of the Turin team, Antonio Conte.
