"Everton" again failed to resist against "Liverpool" team in the city derby (VIDEO)

At 14:30 Lithuanian time, the 30th round of the English Premier League started at Anfield Stadium.

Two Liverpool teams, Liverpool and Everton, who did not show warm relations towards each other, fought for important points. The "Blues" failed to break their winless streak against Liverpool and suffered a 1-3 defeat on the road.

Jurgen Klopp's team took the lead in the 8th minute - Sadio Mane scored a precise goal after a great run. However, the score was equalized in the 28th minute, when Matthew Pennington scored from a corner.

The "Reds" quickly turned the score around - Philippe Coutinho scored another impressive goal after a great run, putting the hosts in front.

Neither team was able to score more goals in the remaining first half, so the battle moved to the next 45 minutes.

In the second half, the "Blues" tried to equalize the score, but their chances were complicated by Divock Origi, who came on as a substitute and let in a goal just three minutes before the end - the Belgian's excellent shot increased Liverpool's lead to two goals.

Despite their efforts, the Liverpool teams were unable to score more goals in the remaining time, and the hosts celebrated a 3-1 victory, maintaining their unbeaten record in the Merseyside derby since October 2010.

After the victory, Liverpool temporarily rose to third place, while Everton remained in seventh place with 50 points.
